May I be a little bit of a jerk and say how proud I am of this?
Sorry...but I really am...I know there might be mistakes, but...I really like this. I feel like there's nothing TOO wrong with it...geh, I hate praising my own work...

So, this is my guy, Von, for a story I've been planning out for quite a while now. I was playing around on Youtube one day, and I found this epic song by Red [link] that instantly reminded me of this guy and the story. I suddenly got the idea for this pic from listening to that song too (like...I listened to it probably over 10 times in one day ...no, it's definitely more... ) and I wanted to get it drawn AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
I had to rough sketch his leap quite a few times before I got it right (I'm the kind of fool who doesn't like to use references for positions and whatnot ) but what was the most fun was the shadows. IT WAS SO GREAT PAINTING WITH INK
So, the line at the bottom are words from the song. I thought it seemed fitting for this particular image

Man, I can't wait to start this story...

And in other news...I'll be seeing Red live this weekend at Winter Jam.
